We are now using the LATEST Conferenceroom Java Chat. You can test one of the examples from the list below which can be modifed for your own look and feel.

 

Blue: A slightly more advanced theme in your 'basic' blue.
The Blue theme is slightly more advanced than the simple theme using more UI elements - a nice theme for those sites that use blue as a base color.

BlueTop: A sleek theme with blue as its main color.
This theme shows that you can use the ChatNow technology to place elements of chat anywhere in the applet section. This client has blue background graphics with a different style login then your average chat client.

Britain: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The Britain theme features the British flag and a background map of England.

Canada: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The Canadian theme is based on red and white and features the maple leaf.

Cards: For those sites that like to take a gamble.
This theme is a simple theme based on the a deck of cards featuring a Royal Flush in the suite of Hearts.

Channels: Channel sub-applet sample.
This theme has a smaller applet that constantly displays the channels that are available on the server. For those servers with larger quantities of channels it isn't recomended that you turn on auto refresh. The channels applet currently is setup to only display channels when the refresh button is clicked (small O in the upper right corner).

Chat Theme: 100% height and width.
Chat Interface that uses 100% height and width with most default features enabled. You might not want to use this one as its currently defined unless you want to blind your chat community.

Chooser: Allows your users to preview the themes on your server.
This theme has all the themes listed and allows your users to preview and try each one that is of interest to them.

Classic: Classic simplicity.
A very straight forward design that will enahnce any web site. This theme has all of the bells and whistles with very little flash.

Community: Main demonstration theme.
It has a simple clean look and uses the full client mode (IRC commands allowed). This is the base for the which has a ton of parameters that can be used to customize the interface. The can be modified to a much greater extent, but the is far easier to define and the parameters are faster to learn.

Crescent: Yellow, Orange, Red and a basic Crescent shape.
A very striking theme for those sites that aren't afraid to use the brighter colors, shapes and graphics on their site.

Cycle: Cycle different colors.
A futuristic chat client that allows your users to choose the color of their chat interface.

Egypt: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The Egyptian theme goes into the past and uses hieroglyphics and the symbol of Rha - highlight the glyphs below the login name to connect.

Electronic: A theme you'll get a charge out of.
A truley electric theme for new age sites that want a flashy theme for their users. Click on Show Rooms in the upper left hand corner to bring up the search rooms list.

Fancy: A very clean theme chat implentation.
This client features switches to bring the rooms list and buddy list to the foreground. It also features a panel that allows you to resize your text and change your font on the fly.

First and Last: Uses first and last names.
Asks a user for their first and last name, this is used to create a nickname. Using the same look and feel as the default theme.

France: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The French theme uses the Eiffel tower to split the users/buddy area from the chat area.

Germany: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The German theme uses the colors black, red and yellow and displays the German Gryphon.

HTML: Basic HTML, Non-Java Theme.
HTML Client
This uses basic HTML to allow your users to chat without using Java. This is good when download speed or firewalls interfere with your clients ability to chat.

Kids: A sample page aimed at a younger audience.
This page uses the restricted client mode (no IRC commands). The page will take users directly to the #kidchat room.

Mexico: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The Mexican theme uses a map, bottle, flag, sombrero, cactus and just about everything else under the sun.

Music: A basic theme featuring an electric guitar.
For those sites that are music based or for the music hobbiest.

Nature: Shows varius natural settings.
A nice theme that allows your users to switch between various nature themes including an Avalanche, Grand Canyon, Clouds, Ligtning Storms etc.

Nebula: Classy black theme.
Very classy looking theme designed in basic black with blue trim. This also has a feature that's been very popular on the webmaster.com site in that clients can elect to get a chat client that they can post on their chat site that will connect to your server. A nice feature to offer your clients and a good way to build traffic.

Night: A dark theme dedicated to night.
For those night dwellers, or those sites that have an evening motif.

Panel: A client that looks like a future control panel.
This client is laid out like a control panel. The ! will bring up a search rooms dialogue box - a very nice theme for general use.

Paper: A client that looks like ripped paper.
This client would look really nice on a page that is predominantly black and white. This has the look of ripped or tattered paper.

PRM: A theme based on a full param file..
The custom theme makes use of quite a few of the java params inside the param file. It uses many colors so that varying parts of the UI can be easily identified. Use this theme or copy it to a new name to avoid a new installer writing over this existing file. This is an excellent theme to use while learning how to program the .

Simple: A very basic use of skins to create a nice look.
This theme is a good starter theme for those interested in learning how to use the XML coding that is required to make the s.

Slide: An example of sliding panels.
This theme has panels that slide out from the body, a very modern tubular look. It's a clear demonstration of what you can accomplish with the ChatNow technology. Virtually any look that you want to create is within your grasp.

Sports: For the avid sports fan.
This theme covers many sports with a UI that changes on the fly depending on which sports equipment is clicked on.

Tiny: A very tiny theme.
TinyChat Client
The TinyChat theme uses a very small applet (8,072 bytes) which loads extremely quickly with little bandwidth. This is the theme that you want to use for those browsers that cannot handle the larger client, or if you're doing a large event on limited bandwidth. This uses complete system widgets and has almost no params aside from foreground, background, nickname, password and channel.

Tunnel: Forces the client to use HTTP tunneling.
Using the same look and feel as the main Community theme. This will force the client to tunnel rather then use a normal connection. Tunneling is where the java client pretends to be a web client. This will allow the client to bypass most firewalls that do not 'port block' as our client will tunnel on the chat port and not through port 80. This would not be a theme you would normally want to use and is here to allow you to easily test firewall configurations. The normal chat client will automatically fall back to tunneling mode.

USA: Part of the Nations series of themes.
Allows your users to show their national pride by using themes that are based on the flag and colors of their countries. The USA theme is based on Old Glory the flag of the United States of America.

Variable: Demonstration of the power of variables.
This theme allows you to make basic changes in the theme by editing the file variable.var in the varibles directory. Variables work very much like prm files and we will be making more use of these as the complexity of our themes goes up in the future.

Xtreme: A client for those that like to live on the edge.
This client shows extreme sports and allows the user to select between many skins including motocross, technical climbing, skydiving and scuba diving.
